Question 1: How much will each family have to pay to use the WiFi routers?
The routers will be checked out to families at no cost. However, fines for damages or loss of equipment may be applied. If a student withdraws from the district without returning the device, the family will be charged for the unreturned equipment.
Question 2: Who do I contact to receive a router for my house?
Contact your Campus One-to-One Program Administrator to request a WiFi router. For students that are in remote learning, the One-to-One Program Administrator will schedule a time for a parent to pick up the WiFi router. For students that are receiving in-person learning, the Campus Netbook Technician will deliver a router to the student at the end of the school day.
Question 3: What if my family lives outside of the tower coverage area?
Families who live outside of the tower coverage area will be issued an AT&T hotspot, which will be paid for by the district. The same check out and check in procedures will be followed for any AT&T hotspots issued and students are still subject to a fine for not returning the device when collected or withdrawing from the district.
Question 4: What if my router stops working at my house?
A technology work order must be submitted by the student in order for the Netbook Technician to troubleshoot the issue. If the Netbook Technician determines the student needs to exchange the router for another one, the student will be notified.
